The Essential LossPREVENTION™ solution requires a traditional client/server arrangement to operate. The server software will handle the formatting and storage of the transaction data that is to be investigated. Traditionally, this is located on the server that your transaction logs are located. The data is then formatted and stored in one of several popular database applications. Once the data is prepared for investigation, the client application provides the analysis and reporting mechanisms.

Aspect’s easy-to-use client software is compatible with any Pentium class PC running Windows 2000®, ME®, or XP®. The application incorporates statistical methods and rules of thumb that have been used by specialists for many years. Aspect has taken these proven techniques and added the ability to apply them to large volumes of data in the form of specialized reports. Performing these reports in a consistent and timely manner has enabled the loss prevention department to dramatically recover losses that were previously difficult to detect.
